Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Tierney Klimek who was born in Pennsylvania on June 30, 1981 and passed away on December 27, 2006 at the age of 25. We will remember her forever.

God blessed Bunne and Terry Klimek 25 years ago, with a little blonde haired bundle of joy.  (Well, most of the time anyway)  Right from the start, it was apparent that Tierney had a mind of her own.  Stubborn and independance were tempered with the most beautiful smile a little girl ever had.  Her personal nickname by me (her Mom) was Sunshine.  But most of the time she was just "Tiers".  Tierney Rae was reserved for... well, let's just say other times.  Her name was a combination of her Mom and Dad's, just as she was the very best of both of us.  From, as her cousin put it, a messy blonde haired tomboy, emerged  a totally confident and beautiful woman.  Tiers excelled in just about every area of life she tackled.  You see, if she couldn't be number one, she just wasn't interested.  And excel she did.  Graduating an All American Scholar and National Honor Student, she breezed through high school.  Tierney participated in the Ft. LeBouef Soccer team and gave basketball a try for a short time.  Short being the operative word there!  She actually attended Seneca High School, Ft. LeBeouf and finally graduated from East High School, her Dad's alma mater.  You might think going to three different schools would have had an adverse effect on her, but not true.  She carried life long relationships from all three.  Tierney dated as most young girls do.  Her first true love was a young man that to this day is very special to me.  What a beautiful couple her and Mikey were.  But, fate intervened and eventually their paths parted.  Although to the day she left us, he always held a special place in her heart.
Then the day came when she decided to spread her wings and leave Erie.  She had met a young man named Jason, and decided as he was moving to Utah, that she wanted to see someplace other than Erie.  So, she packed up, and Dad took her to Utah.  I wish I could write about what her life was like out there, but to my great despair, I can't.  What I do know from talking to her friends was that she was happy.  So, I invite her friends and family to share with all who visit this site the memories they have of her.
I have inserted this paragraph as John (her other Dad) and I just got back from Utah.  To everyone we met out there, please know how much you helped us.  Your love for Tierney will be remembered by us always. After meeting with all of you, I know that you were very important to her.  As you are now to myself and John.  Know that if any of you ever need anything, we are here for you.  Hugs to all of you, and Bless you for being there for both John and myself.  It will NEVER be forgotten...
Our daughter, sister and friend was taken from us on December 27, 2006, in a horrific car accident.  As was her boyfriend.  My faith tells me that she now resides in God's Kingdom.  I pray for her and all the family and friends that they have left behind.
Tierney touched many lives in her brief time with us.  I feel very fortunate to be the mother of this beautiful spirit.  Whatever plan God has for her, there is no doubt in my mind that it will be executed to perfection.  I know she will always be remembered by many many people other than her Dad, sister Chantell and myself.  Please remember her with a smile.....

Her legacy
Wish You Were Here--Mark Harris

I wanted to tell you how closely I've kept
The memories of you in my heart
And all of the lifetimes that we had to share
Live even though we're apart
But don't cry for me
'Cause I'm finally free
To run with the angels
On streets made of gold
To listen to stories of saints new and old
To worship our Maker
That's where I'll be
When you finally find me

No don't you be weary cause waiting for you
Are wonders that you've never known
Just hold on to Jesus, reach out for his hands
And one day They'll welcome you home
And that's when you'll be
Finally free
Finally free

I wish you were here, I wish you were here

And all of the dreams that you treasure
Will soon come together
And that's when your sorrow will find tomorrow
And you will rise again

We'll run with the angels on streets made of gold
We'll listen to stories of saints new and old
We'll worship our maker that's where we'll be
When you finally find me

I wish you were here
If you could see where I have gone, the beauty of this place
And how it feels to know you're home to see the Savior's face.
To wake in peace and know no fear, just joy beyond compare,
While still on earth you miss me yet, you wouldn't want me there,
If you could see where I have gone.

If you could see where I have gone, had made the trip with me,
You'd know I didn't go alone, the savior came with me.
When I awoke, He was by my side, and reached down with His hand,
Said "Hurry, you're going home to a grand and glorious land."
"Don't worry over those you love, for I'm not just with you,
And don't you know with you at home, they'll long to be here, too?"

If you could see where I have gone, and see what I've been shown,
You'd never know another fear, or ever feel alone.
You'd marvel at the care of God, his hand on every life,
And realize He really cares, and bears with us each strife,
And that He weeps when one is lost, His heart is filled with pain,
But Oh! the joy! when one comes home, a child at home again.

If you could see where I have gone, could stay awhile with me
Could share the things that God has made to grace eternity.
But, no you couldn't ever leave, onece heaven's joy you'd known,
You couldn't bear to walk earth's paths once heaven was your home.
If you could see where I have gone.

If you could see where I have gone, you'd know we'll meet someday,
And though I'm parted from you now, I am just away.
And now that I'm home with Him, secure in every way,
I'm waiting here at heaven's door to greet you some sweet day.
